Clinton (MS) Alumnae Chapter

SPECIAL PROJECTS and PUBLIC SERVICE

Public service remains the core of our chapter.  Servicing the community since 2004, the Clinton MS Alumnae Chapter host annual fundraisers and programs to support our Chapter’s service programs and initiatives. Fostering strong relations within our community and beyond, we partner with other organizations that share our service agenda. 

 

CMAC Programs

      Jabberwock is a scholarship pageant supporting girls ages 6-18 that is held bi-annually

      Meal-in-a-Bag Campaign

      Voter Registration Drive

      Community Health Fairs

      Annual Seniors Thanksgiving Dinner

 

CMAC Initiatives

      The Red Jacket initiative engages our local service area elected officials and school board members to fulfill the Sorority’s platform of advocacy and outreach.

      Healthy Community Initiative provides health screenings and health literacy to the rural communities in our service areas.

      Credit Plus Seminars is a collaborative effort with BankPlus that promotes financial literacy.

      Contributes over $8000 annually in book scholarships to rising college freshman

      Support for the United Negro College Fund

      Support for the American Cancer Society

      Support for the American Heart Association

      Support for the Red Hand Campaign, to ban children as soldiers of war

      Adopting four families Christmas and Thanksgiving
